While not a date night type of outing, it definitely is a family-friendly type of restaurant. It has a nice home style vibe with great service. We were seated immediately and received our food about 10 minutes after we ordered. It was a really fast turnaround, for sure! The food was pretty good. The portion sizes were just right. More than likely, you won't have any leftovers, but the meal is filling. Though it doesn't look like it will be. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I had lunch today (Wednesday in July) at Chubbys when the signs advised us, "eat here or we will both starve", and "home style cooking". We were very graciousmy greeted by a "Paula Deen doppelgänger" by the name of Kay, who gave us great information and Southern charm. The chicken parmigiana I ordered validated the home cooking promise and was very tasty. My wife ordered a steak that was very tender and tasty. It was cooked to perfection bit the fries were frozen and not homemad. I had a peach cobbler with both ice cream and the homemade cream Kay was sweet enough to includ. It was also quite tasty. They had many clever souvenirs that could also be purchased ( including a large statuary of "Betty Boop" that was among the many curious items. Needless to say, we both very much enjoyed our lunch and plan on visiting again as soon as possible.

This place is definitely not fancy but it was very obviously clean. We stumbled across it online and since the reviews were so good we had to go. We were seated immediately by a super friendly waitress the place was busy but not over crowded. Our waitress was very attentive and just plain friendly. Drinks we kept full the entire meal appetizers came out hot and fast! Fried green tomatoes were the bomb! We got the Chubby burgers and they were massive and so dang good. Everyone needs to go try this place out!

This place was pretty alright. The location was easy to get to, parking was plentiful, there were cool statues out front, and the food was solid. The service was pretty good. The servers are very nice and have no problem going over the menu with you. It was clear to me that they have a large local base of patrons. You know how when you get a chicken fried steak one side is crispy and sometimes the other side is soggy? This was 100% not the case! The steak was fantastic! The rest of the food was good but not amazing. Very cool inside. Like a local home style place. Eat here. Go home. Take a nap.

Looks very authentic, had a southern home cooking feel from the moment I entered. Waitress was very attentive, friendly, and quick. Probably the best biscuit sandwich I had during my week long stay. Only disappointment was the syrup on the French toast. Would definitely stop in next time in this area. Breakfast biscuit sandwich is the way to go!

Very hometown home cook diner. Wasn't too busy but started to pick up as we were leaving. The food was amazing. Fried okra batter was so flavorful. Pulled pork was so tender! The server was okay. The lady (assumed it was the owner) who came around was very friendly and amazing.

The food is very good and largely portioned. I had the chicken sandwich and it was amazing. The fries were ok, I would order a different side next time. The service was fast and they tended to our needs while being very nice! The ambiance felt slightly dirty, but was okay. You couldn't expect more or want less for what it is. Overall my family loved chubby's and this was our second time going. Definitely a must try!
